Lip blushing is a refined, semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that focuses on enhancing the lips in a soft and natural way. Rather than creating a solid lipstick effect, this treatment works by delicately implanting pigment into the lips to build a sheer, even wash of colour. Your Appointment Process
Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation, where we take the time to understand your preferences and desired outcome. Your natural lip colour, shape, and skin tone are carefully assessed to choose a pigment that will heal into a flattering, balanced shade. From there, your lips are softly mapped to ensure symmetry and a shape that complements your face.
The Lip Blush Procedure
Once your colour and shape are mapped and approved, the treatment begins. Using a cosmetic tattoo machine, pigment is gently implanted into the lips in soft layers to build a smooth, even wash of colour. The treatment itself is performed using a specialised cosmetic tattoo machine, which gently deposits pigment into the lips in light, controlled layers. This gradual approach allows the colour to build naturally, resulting in a smooth, even finish that enhances rather than overpowers your features. The technique is designed to be gradual and controlled, ensuring a refined and natural-looking finish rather than anything heavy or overpowering. Please allow up to 3.5 hours for this appointment, times can vary between clients.
Healing & Aftercare
Following your appointment, your lips will appear brighter and more defined before softening throughout the healing process. It’s completely normal to experience stages such as dryness, light flaking, and a temporary fading phase before the true colour gradually returns. You will be provided with detailed aftercare instructions to support proper healing and ensure the best possible result.
Perfecting Appointment
Lip blushing is a two-step process. A follow-up appointment is recommended around 6–8 weeks after your initial treatment, allowing us to refine the colour, adjust any areas if needed, and perfect the overall result once your lips have fully healed.
